How to make Easy Hummus Recipe with Tahini

Hummus good appetizer dish. Hummus very popular dish in middle eastern it usually serves with pita bread and also enjoy full with grilled chicken, fish.
Hummus recipe have significant nutrition benefits its reach from many types vitamins and minerals and dietary fibers. Today we make hummus recipe with easy and simple method.

Ingredients

2 cup/8 Oz chickpeas
1 bouquet garni
1 small onion, peeled
2 garlic cloves, peeled
2 lemons, juice
2 tbsp/ 50 g tahini paste
4 tbsp olive oil
Salt and freshly ground pepper
1 tbsp parsley
1 tomato, sliced

Preparation Method

1. Soak the chickpeas for at least 6 hours and then drain them.
2. Place the chickpeas in a large dish with 1 ¾ put water, bouquet garni and the sliced onion. Microwave for 20 minutes on full power. Leave to stand for 5 minutes, and then cook for a further 25 minutes, or until the peas are cooked and soft. Drain and allow to cool.
3. Put all the other ingredients except the parsley in a blender or food processor. Gradually add the chickpeas to the other ingredients until they make a smooth paste. Taste for seasoning.
4. Arrange the hummus in a dish, and sprinkle with a little extra olive oil.

To serve hummus recipe

Garnish with a spring of parsley and tomato slices and serve with warm pita bread.
